That is an interesting thought, my first thought was that the difference between Civ2 and Civ3 is much bigger then it is with CTP1 and CTP2. But I only looked on the graphics, so if I forget the graphics then the difference between CTP1 and CTP2 is still smaller then between Civ2 and Civ3, but it is only sligtly.

Actually I have to comment this question abit better once I have finished my Civ marathon, but I assume I still then find the answer to be nostalgia.

I am TOTALLY in agreement, for when I say to myself.."Self"..go start another different game..I just cant and well, still get the most enjoyment out of CTP than any other game.

I am eyeing the new Candy-Cane coming up, RoN..as perhaps a sweet little treat though................

"Explain more blackice im very curious"

I have heard several europeans comment on this. The game is used as a teaching tool, politics, strategy, economics and of course pollution is all covered in this game.

In my small town lol some of the high school teachers use it as well for the same reason. Personally I can not think of another game so true to life in such a wide range of areas?

          Any one?

Haven't played CTP in a long, long time. But if I remember correctly, I had to be more careful with my movement or I'd send a unit somewhere I didn't want it to go. And I am a fan of the "wheel interface". Much easier to use.

For me, its no CTP2, but a great game in its own right. May have to give it a spin again, if anything just to remember what its like.
