September 5th, 1150 A.D

Cairo, Egypt. The streets were quiet today around the capitol today as
ministers and other officials were disbatched to the outlying provinces to try and restore order directly. The government has come under increasing criticism for its disregard for the proletariat, who make up 90% of the Egyption population. The recent rampage by the Persians through the northern provinces has weakened the ability for the government to keep its citizens in check. Egyption's army has not been able to keep up with the rapidly growing population.

As a results, riots all accross the empire have taken place. The growing dissent is finally approaching the capitol, as the city of Rosetta rioted. The problem becomes much worse the father away from the capitol one travels. There have been at least ten riots this year alone and the problem only seems worsening.

Some people are actually calling for a revolution to overthrow the long-standing theocracy and create a government for the people. Xram, a proffessor from Abusir, is the leader of this new movement. He
thinks that it is only a matter of time( a very short time) before the proletariat overthrows government and destroys the bourgeois. Of course, the government has declared Xram an outlaw and traitor to the government. Any information on this man's whereabouts should be immediatly reported the Ministry of Law.

Would you say this charletan would stoop to subversive tactics such as would strain relations between neighboring states?

This just in--The government of the Egyption Empire has been overthrown!!! There are a mixture of riots and celebrations occuring throughout all the provinces. The followers of Xram are said to have lead the rebellion, but it is still unclear who will take control of the government.
