The crash appears when someone tries to contact me in the game. It can be circumvented if I send that person certain text files, because I unfortunately used modified text files for my custom civ when I started that game.

Protoss is rather active I think. I have plenty of emails from him for this game in the game folder. He also played this turn right after the resend and sent it to berXpert.

I guess I will just set him on AI next time I play my turn.
