expelling my spy who was about to steal Quantum Physics from your people is certainly an act of war.

look at it this way:
if you have Quantum Physics and my puny nation has not, stealing it from you will keep a balance of (nuclear) power and thus secure world peace, whereas otherwise i would need to attack you first to prevent you from nuking me into oblivion.

Exactly, and I do recall that you did expell a number of settlers GT, although they only traveled a few tiles.

You just broke a rule by founding a city within my city limits BTW.

I don't mind though as it will make things more interesting when we start fighting in 200 turns.

maybe you meant the agreed upon way which we did to start with..but like i said..no problems..i understand YOUR way is to not go with agreed upon rules

THE WRONG WAY TO PLAY CTP:

#1-Cheating is wrong way-of which I know of none whom does

#2-Agreeing upon a certian way of doing things-and then not plying that way in game

When i wasnt playing CTP I got invited

not a lot of game going on

So I tried to spice things up by having varying rules and setups..AGREED UOPON PRIOR TO START OF GAME MIND YOU

"WAR" is an agressive act

I move a settler 25 spacces to form a city where no one else is

why would that be an agressive act by expelling them?

Thats my take
