it was game 38, quinns. started in january 2003 !! one of the longest games id say, for turns as well as for calendar time. which supports my point that these games get finished too as long as both players care.

and yes, it was fun to kick your butt, checkmate.
as we were playing a nowonder game (well, almost ) i had to act as i realized you were taking all the AIs' wonders.

I have given it a try, but no luck. I presume the college firewall is blocking access. I'd need to set up a Socks proxy or some other such technical jiggery pokery which I don'treally understand to get through it...

I would love to. But alas, my family comes first. I can only carve out a few minutes a day to play PBEM. Thanks for the invitation, though. Maybe in a few months things will settle down around the Quinn household. Then I would be happy to oblige!
