  • GameOver function

When I use this function to eliminate a player from the game, all his units
get killed (at the end of the turn), but his cities remain present.

When a military unit of another civ tries to enter one of these cities, the
    game crashes.

Any suggestions on how to solve this ?

Do all his cities remain, or those with pop>3? Maybe try and Addpops(-ve number) to make them small before you GameOver?

Or do you want to keep the cities after a GameOver?

Hi, never used that function before but PN has a good idea. In your code you could do the addpops minus a huge number which would destroy a city. I know this would work.

I think the GameOver function was never designed to let AIs loose a game, just human players, so I'm not surprised it doesn't work (examples of how it *can* be used can be found in the Activision's CtP2 scenarios). I think PN's suggestion would indeed be the best way to go.

Well glad it does. But I have to admit it was an intuitive guess, as I am a SLIC veteran of only 10 days
