I think the cities may have been happy enough the turn prior to the spontaneous rioting, but I can't be certain. As far as special attacks.. I'd thought of that, but even if Chieftan-level AI could manage that, I'm sure it wouldn't be slick enough to arrange such a massive endeavor all at once.
Ok..chieftain..I was thinking Diety..well..sure..that would explain the HUGE cities..

I will continue to see any information to help though!

LOL, no. I hadn't played an empire-building game of any sort in around a year- hadn't been able to find the CDs- and so I figured I'd start small.

Finally I took a look on your game, darkgrendel. And yes some cities change the owner once you hit end turn. But that are not your cities, the Jamaicans are the ones who lose some cities, before and afterwards of this turn you still have 69 cities.

....Before the turn I saved on there were no Jamaicans. All of those cities ought to be Welsh.

Well you are right I found the revolting messages now. But before these messages appeared you got in the same turn riot messages. And you are in Technocracy, that allow 110 cities without happiness penalties, so with 81 cities before the turn you saved. Well to understand the problem better a save from before the turn you saved would be helpfull. But I guess you don't have a quicksave or an autosave. Well the autosave wouldn't help so much, because it is imidiatly done when the turn starts, well a small change is that it wa saved before the riots and that it does not contain the changes. But I doubt that is rather a bug of CTP2.
