I decided to split my mod into two pieces, the terrain section and the Medieval section. The Terrain Mod is already available at... that "other" site.
I worked all night Saturday, and now the Medieval Mod section has been sent there as well, all patch 2 compliant and everything. Just set up a scenario folder, put the existing versions of CD's and Paul's graphics mods into it, paste mine on top of that, then transfer the new files into the core directory. Details are in the scenario file.
TP, it seems that most of your slic mod changes were included in the new patch. I don't know if you find this confirming or frustrating. I was going to incorporate the 1.71 version of your mod into mine, but after a detailed analyses decided to separate them. If you construct your patch 2 version like the others, as a paste-in, then it should go into mine with no problem.

don't yell at them too much
You think you can just come over here for a good time, then browse that "other" site when you feel a little confined by this relationship! Hmph! It's guys like you that give the rest of us a bad name with the ladies! It's ok, Markos, I'm here to defend your honor!
