You may #include SLIC code from files in the same directory, but not from other places. You can't even use subdirectories (e.g., #include "greg/calltolawyers.slc" definitely does not work).
I really hope the 1.2 patch extends the concept of local modification to SLIC. I'd sincerely love to be able to put SLIC (assuming it becomes useful for what I wanted to do) into a separate place outside of the game's installation directory. For us Linux users especially, the concept of having to modify the system-wide defaults instead of having personal defaults which take priority is rather annoying. My SLIC stuff should go into my home directory and shouldn't have to interfere with other users' ability to play the game. (If I had other users who played CTP, that is. ;-) )
