  • went back to check the map and the names History give to the Corp sector systems... two Meraks? isn't one called Merek and controlled by the Gaians? what about the Agyptii system...a binary? if so, considered one system like Alpha Centauri and also third closest, which TAF as an attack force currently there.... unless the systems are different and located at differently on the z-axis.

    • Sprayber-Just got back from looking at Sparta Prime's website and I love the Spartan Quotes! None mention the Hive though.........I was thinking of expanding the idea History Guy had about Hive propaganda shows and posting them on my site. But that's for another time. Good job! I especially like:

"If brute force doesn't solve your problem, you're not using enough." - Admiral Henry Bishop, conversation with Admiral Harrison: Morgan Interstellar.
History Guy- Like the Morganite view of the battle! I'm disheartened that we could not have some Morganite citizens to educate in the ways of the Hive. It is a travesty!!!!

Mellian- Ya know, I'm getting to like the EC more and more and liking the TA less and less!

      • Centauri- Well, if you want to talk to someone, you should talk to Sprayber if anything.

As for data, there's the BAC datalinks thread somewhere if you can dig it up...I'll bump it for you. To know the current state of affairs you might want to read the story from the beginning. In fact, I think you should. If you have questions about a certain thing about any faction, just PM that factions author!

I would love to answer/educate you and the Mars Combine on the benefits of allying with the Hive Empire!

If your taking Mars, they you have Cybergod, Kass and Mellian to ask questions to and work with. I try and stay out of Sol affairs since I do represent the Spartan Federation. If want an idependent planet elsewhere then send me a PM and we can get you located.

            • I think LMP got the Mars stuff pretty well covered. Just remember to read the Terran histories, I think an accepted one from the Earth POV can be found here.
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

                • The link works fine for me.
I am not sure of the Terran History within the datalinks; have you posted it there? Is it the Revision 3, the last version, we agreed upon? My link's Revision 4 only has some bolding included, nothing contextual.

                  • LMP-- Umm, yes, actually. The Novans are going to be in a very tricky position in this system. Not only is a whole transport full of fighters in the area, but there is also the approaching Soldiers of God mercenaries. If the Novans try anything they'll be in pretty bad shape.

                    What bits should I edit?

Umm...you are right! There are too Meraks! Weird, ain't it? I'll change the name. The Aegyptii are two seperated systems that follow different orbits.

                    Centauri 18

The story of Beyond Alpha Centauri started in late 2700, and it is now early 2701 in the story. Many Chiron factions such as the Gaians, the Spartans, the Morganites, the Drones, the University, and the Hive have left Chiron, building up empires in space. The Earthers (Terrans) have built up an empire of their own. There has been peace since the end of the wars with the aliens known as the Bree, but that peace has been violently shattered by the space battle above Morganite Planet Aristophanes (Pollux C). No one is quite sure as to who fired the first shot in the action, the Morganite supply ship, or the supply ship of the rival company, Terra's Interplanetary Enterprises. Both ships are destroyed. In the aftermath, Morgan sends emissaries to speak to InEn officials on the Earth's moon, but that too becomes disastrous, the InEn troops attack the dignitaries, who barely make it back to Morgan space. Morgan decides to attack the InEn holdings at Callisto, and takes that moon, but his men are forced to withdraw due to the counterattack by the Earth Coalition. In the meantime, the Earth colony on Titan (a moon of Saturn) secedes from the Coalition with Rhea, forming the Saturn Kingdom. The Earther's attempts to bring the Kingdom back into the Coalition are bungled, to say the least. There is now peace between the two governments. Morgan recognizes the Saturnians diplomatically, and on the eve of war a treaty is signed. It has to be scrapped when the war with Terra breaks out. Morgan attacks distant Capella, a Terran colony, taking the whole system with the help of the Believer mercenaries. In response, Terra attacks Morganite holdings in the Corporate Sector...Phew!

Franky-- Tis a reeeeeeal shame, ain't it?
                    Empire growing,

Yes, Approaching, but they won't get there by the time the battles finish.... SoD is all the way at Capella and Pollux/Castor... so like 20 lightyears or so from the Corperate sector, meaning, two days or so FTL travel. The TA attacks suppose to be a blitzkrieg The battle is still currently during a period of a day....where things are happening quickly diplomaticly and so on.

Anyway, the Morganites won't exactly know of Kerensky's offer to the pirates.... except that TAF ships is contacting the pirate ships in the three systems that is being attacked. Can't always intercept comm signals you know

Other then that, i do expect the Novans to lose SOME ships once they start desserting their positions/ take control of the stations and so on they are to defend in the three systems being attacked. They may lose some more ships once they start getting hunted down by Morganite and so on ships, but the Pirates is pretty good at hiding, and helps if they are nomads Heck, the Novans may take that to their advantage and lead the ships that are hunting them somewhere and ambush them. Novans will end up seeking Kane's help, and start being active within Kane's bloc clans and data angels. As for covertly hunting them down, it will be hard in this area as well... as they will be facing Data Angels, which their whole faction is into espionage and one big Intelligence network.

                        What bits should I edit?
For example, TA forces won't be bombarding Samnos as was previously said in my post, which i edited it.... especially if the Morganites there are surrendering.

Umm...you are right! There are too Meraks! Weird, ain't it? I'll change the name. The Aegyptii are two seperated systems that follow different orbits.
Okay, there is Aegyptii A and B....

                        early 2701? I say mid-late 2701 by now....

The Earthers (Terrans) have built up an empire of their own.
different factions within Sol as emerged, and formed the Terran Alliance, which as been around for nearly two centuries. TA as its own seperate joint military organization, the TAF currently lead by Fleet Admiral Kerensky. TAF acts like a seperate faction within TA.

InEn was more like a Corporate Nation like the morganites, and was a member within the Terran Alliance... they are NOW being merged into the Terran Alliance itself. TAF is currently got some InEn ships to help out with the attacks, heavily supervised by the TAF of course....none in Cyclanid thought.

Morgan decides to attack the InEn holdings at Callisto, and takes that moon, but his men are forced to withdraw due to the counterattack by the Earth Coalition
Without considering the diplomatic option . The counterattack was lead by the TAF forces, but the EC forces as helped as well.
just a note: players here as the bad evil habit of ignorig the TAF and TA in general, making it seem it is the Earth Coalition that runs the whole show, which they are not.

Kass - How dare you! Well, for all you know, the Brotherhood of Sol might be the thing we'll be opting for next... he he he (jokes)

Centauri - Welcome! I'd be very much pleased to have Martians in the thread! Especially when a couple of my main characters actually originate from Mars (see Nicholas Popullos, Anita Delitz and the other guy from Mars, Peter Jovovic

Mellian - do you think that Nicholas' son should be born soon? This is crutial to my story, please reply quickly...

                          • Wow, I just read the Earth History, and it's pretty interesting. So I take it Mars had a Socialist revolution sometime in the twenty-third century? Very interestingLike I said before, the Red Planet in more ways than one.
As for getting started on Mars, I'm willing to get started on a cohesive storyline any time you guys are.
Whew! I'm back and ready to start writing again.
Coming soon: Pax America Redux (Including concepts/civs from Conquests)

                            • Centauri18: My suggestion is to make out a list of characters to start out with. Doesn't have to be all the charcters you will ever use, just list the important ones like Military figures and civilian leaders. Determine specifics of your goverment and let your fellow Solarians know. (Everyone like that term Solarians. I just made it up ) From there you can decide if you want to start big or slowly build your faction. One possible angle you could use is with you and Soveregin(University). He has been interested in increasing contact with the Terrans. It might be good to go through the Combine first. Or start out with dealings with the Saturn Government (Cybergod). I would offer to do it with the Spartans but we are in kind of a mess with your fellow Solarians and I don't know if they would like Spartan "assests" in the Sol system.

                              Attention
For those thinking about using Spartan characters go on over to this page and read up on Spartan Ranks and what they are responsible for. It's just to provide a guide to what each position is responsible for.
