The Hunt will return soon. If I finish all my work by Wednesday, there might be a new post by Sunday.

Always look forward to your stories.
Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh

I really should stop mentioning timeframes in my story discussions, considering that I never abide by them. Things have come up and things have fallen away, and the result is that there is a new section for The Hunt. It's not as long as some of the previous ones, but I did want to introduce the Spartans. Peter's been in four different countries in one week.

Four by my count: the University, the Nautilus Pirates, Morgan Industries (passing through on the way to Safe Haven), and now the Spartan Federation.

It's looking great, Mr. President. Feel free to drop by Morgan Industries at some later date.

I haven't quite decided where the story will end up yet, but since Bialkevich is somewhat of a mercenary, there's a good chance he'll follow the scent of Morgan's money.

                    Concerning BAC...

                    Mr. President:

I know that little we can say can dissuade you from leaving now, and I would not blame you for doing so in light of the circumstances. As everyone has expressed, LMP's actions were foolish and puerile. If you leave now, BAC is sunk. So many plots will be left hanging. Besides, you are one of the very best writers here, and indeed, one of the very best writers on the whole bloody forum! I do hope that you shall simply ignore what LMP says (preferably, about everything LMP says) and you stick on.

I wouldn't blame you in the least if you left us for good, however. I must admit I was sorely tempted to leave myself due to LMP's words, and I still am, to be honest. Unless things change right now, I'm off. I hope that you will stay on, but there is nothing I can do to convince you to do so. If you stay on, it must be, of course, your own decision.

Once again, however, I reiterate: Please, my friend, don't leave BAC!

The public demands more... I didn't notice/recall the story relating to the BAC universe until you mentioned it in this thread.

Fortunately or unfortunately (depending on your point of view), just about the only thing relating to BAC in the story is that Peter Bialkevich worked on the University space program. Maybe there'll be more on that later. I'll see how I feel.

I think its a good read so far, Mr. President. Even though it doesn't have any real references to BAC, they happened in the BAC universe.

At least we know that during this whole adventure, other things are happening on Chiron. Like the Hive-Spartan attack on Nessus and Pholus, Progenitors eradicated, and Yang is the man

The Hunt returns again. It's just a short section this time, to set the scene for the Spartan phase of the adventure (and to give me time to figure out what happens next).

Colonel Santiago and her staff have a dilemma on their hands: How do you interrogate a man for whom it hurts to talk?

Found time to sit and read through all the chapters so far - good stuff, Mr President! Hope you continue the story!

And as for your question about interrogating a severely injured subject... I'm sure Li Min and Huang would agree that M/MI is a workable method, even if the guy's lost his head
