            i have the map almost ready. tomorrow i will try to finish the scenario and do some testing and if everything goes fine i will send the first turn to drow21.

            i want drow21 to start the game because it's his mystical adventure, so, according to the time zones and Florin's working hours, we will have:
            drow21 -> florin79c -> SmacxVeteran -> H0bbes.
            let me know if that suits you all.

            you can send me your passwords by PM, otherwise i will just assign one to each of you.

            @drow21 & florin79c: are you sure you want a no tech trading game against two faction with research bonus?

              well i said that i didnt mind tech trading, and we do have 2 fractions that have bonus to tech reserch

              so guys vote on it i realy dont mind i have a bonus bieng in the sea anyway, but honestly i do like bieng able to trade but realy vote on it ok???

                all 4 factions starting with 3 colony pods, a scout (Pirates with a Unity foil instead) and 10EC.

                  I'n stil for a No tech trade game

                  We have a game "against two faction with research bonus". Imagine this 2 faction in a pact. That will be hard to beat.

                      SmacxVeteran is missing from Apolyton for almost a week. His last post was on this thread, when he joined the game. He's not playing his turns in the game against Monty either. H0bbes seems to be in the same situation, so let's give them some time, maybe they're out of town.

                      in the mean time: if the 'no tech trading' rule is rejected, do you want a game with tech stagnation or not?

                          If you guys need a 4th, I would enjoy getting into another game. Cycon works fine for me. All of the rules are fine.

                          No tech trading is fine with me. I think this puts Hive and Pirates at a disadvantage, but since they are the ones that are for the no tech trading rule, they must be OK with it.

                          One problem with the no tech trading rule is that it is pretty easy to work around with probe teams. I let you probe me, you let me probe you; trade accomplished. Are we eliminating probing also? Otherwise, I think to penalize mutual probing, probing should result in a vendetta for at least a certain number of turns before a pact can be reestablished. Or maybe other penalties.

                          Are we allowed to make treatys and pacts?

                            if you look at the rules probing does result in a vendetta, we are allowed to make pacts n treatys

                            if there is tech trading i think tech stagnation would be a good idea

                              The issue is how quickly one could pact again after such a vendetta. As far as I know, there is nothing to stop me from offer a pact the same turn that I declare a vendetta from probing.
