PBEM: looking games or players

I love this game and I would love to play in online. I don't have time for TCP/IP multiplayer, so I seek PBEM players. I'm ready to take over retired players if I won't find anyone for a new game.

I would play a game, as I have none at the moment.
I'm a bit busy recently, but hopefully should find more time this month and next. We might setup the game meanwhile.

Arakaria, write what are your preferences for the game, smac or smax, settings, faction etc.

I would propose 3 or 4 players game. The rest AI, with some enhancement.

If we are going to play SMAX then alien races should be left to AI. Otherwise, I'm open to preferences of other players.

I don't have too much time either but I think that I will manage to play one turn a day.

As one of the SMAX game I play in is on the way out, I would be willing to start another. The one turn a day rate suits me.

I might also be interested in another game. I am in a few, but most of they are moving very slowly.

Arakaria, have you considered a team game? I just discovered team gaming in the last year, and there are some great new strategies that you can use if you are permanently pacted with another faction. I can describe more if you are interested.

In fact, I posted a 3 vs. 2 team challenge, if you are interested in that sort of game. It is in the thread KILL MONTY - 3 vs. 2. Florin89c is willing, but needs two more partners.

Because it's my second PBEM ever, I prefer free for all rather then team game. Still, if others would like to try this sort of entertainment then I won't oppose.

I must warn you that I'm not a very experienced player. I do manage to win at Transcendent but not always. If you recognize Civ1 or Civ2 leaders' personalities then I'm a perfectionist. This isn't efficient in games like SMAC but I really enjoy that style

I'd like to try a another game. It would only be my second PBEM, so it would be good company. Free for all is fine with me. My first game is teamed with mmontgomery, and he is so good I can't tell how much of our team success is my doing, but I think I am a fairly good player.

Fine with free for all but with the following provisions: pacts and tech exchanges are allowed.

My first choice would be SMAX but SMAC is ok too.

I like SMACX, even if we do not use the new factions. In some versions of SMAC, Hive is not fixed (does not have immunity from inefficiency). And there are other features too.

Since this is only my second game, I am fine with just about any setup.

My choice would be smax also.
Trading techs and pacts allowed.
Any mix of original, new or alien factions is ok with me.

Then we will play SMAX. I would like to play the Cultists but if someone wants them really bad, then I can go for the Drones. AI will get alien factions and the leftovers. Who wants whom?

@Arakaria: Games take some time to get launched. Before starting my first one, I had to wait quite a few weeks. No offense ment to anyone though, real life can interfere with gaming. Patience is of the essence.

By the way, I'm willing to try Morgan this time.
