Bulmaster, is it intentional that you set privacy settings so high that noone can talk to you in skype and leave the SMACX IP chat?
Are you playing then or not?-- What history has taught us is that people do not learn from history.

I thought it was scheduled for NEEEXTT saturday. I clearly said i can't play this weekend. And i think other people would have been under this impression as well. People need a bit of notice. And a couple of days is simply not enough for it to be organised properly. Lets do it THIS coming saturday.
So what happened?? Who showed and how come u didn't get the game running??
Look i'm sorry for this mis-understanding, i'm still VERY keen to play. Does every-body else want to make it this coming saturday instead???

With a lot of people now having broadband TCP/IP should be a lot of fun.#
However if they can't get started or stall / crash then no fun.
These are some poly threads about the problem
and there must be more.
It would be good to crack this problem once and for all.
I am going to PM Googlie and Lazerus for their suggestions.
Key problem areas seem to be:
Firewalls
Same patched version
Ports
Routers.
Maybe Version of DirectX has something to do with it.Last edited by Hercules; July 22, 2007, 12:57.On the ISDG 2012 team at the heart of CiviLIZation
