The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Building underway (the only thing I can't replicate is Darsnan's SP88 - I've lost the string that he sent with its specs - but I have a couple of other AI tweaks that I've used sparingly before that seem to work quite well)

The AI factions are the Caretakers, the Usurpers and the Drones, suitably beefed up. When you first start you'll see that the 3 AI factions have a healthy lead - that's only 'cos I started them with 3 bases each (in order to give their base governors some interesting orders) - in test play all the 4 factions had caught up by around 2120, but then as the AI bases grew, so did their powergraph positions as well
In the absence of tweaking the alphax.txt to push nervegas much later in the game (would have needed all 4 of you to do the same) I gave the 2 Progenitor factions some better means of countering nervegas than they usually have, plus a pretty powerful ally in the form of old Domai
