#1-Do all my reports so I can leave work early (HINT: Area Managers have lots, think before saying sure)

#4-Truck Status Reports for Maint. side of house

#5-Get caught up on Mix Design Generation for this extremely busy market

#6-Do follow ups on permit process for our newest facility.

#7-Adverstise,interview and process new hires

#8-Supervise and look after the needs of 46 Employees

Oh, and in my case work 16 hours a day and catch a sinus infection and get warned down and get thin skinned so when you read a post like this ya think its aimed at you and well, when your tired,sick with a bug or something, you really wanna tell someone:

if its me slowing the game down and you simply can not bear it, find a replacement for me or even play my turns

and as for the posts, man, I play a lot and often games drag on and it frustrates me too....

But I have come to realize that this is a game and real life sometimes bites gaming in da buttocks

I agree a faster turn rate would be great but for me, I am swamped after having issed 3 months due to my accident/spinal surgery/recovery time

I hope we can all do our part to make this an excellent gaming experience

"Is there any way that we can speed up the turns?" was not intended as a flame, just a sincere question as to whether we can do a few little things to pick up the pace. I did not realize I would need an asbestos suit to read the responses.

Gramps, as far as I can tell, you are faster than just about anybody most of the time in doing your turns. So if you are doing them this fast in spite of everything else going on and recovery from surgery, I applaud you. If you took this short note personally, I'm really sorry, because it was not meant for anyone in particular, and especially not for people like you who seem to have very little lag time between receiving and sending a turn.

I am really talking about the little things. Like today I checked my email just before I went to work, and there was a turn waiting. I took maybe 5-8 minutes to go ahead and do the turn and send it to Lobo. Yes, this put me about 3 minutes late for work, but I got the turn sent out 8 hours earlier than I could otherwise have done.

I know stuff happens. Someone goes out of town for a few days and lets everyone know. But I don't see this as the major factor in slowing the game down. Chaunk was out 3 days, but the turn didn't even get back to him in that time frame. Lobo was having some ISP trouble, but he got it taken care of before the turn got back to him. I might have been offline for two weeks, but I got lucky.

All I am asking is for everyone to do some little things, like maybe just checking your email before going to bed or going to work, and processing your turn if it is there. I didn't mean to imply some major lifestyle change. And if you are having trouble getting to your turns for some reason, just post a message saying what is going on, so everyone's expecation is set properly. I think everyone understands when someone is having difficulty for some reason.
