I'm dropping out of this game guys, the single turn advantage gained in the colony pod cashing has capitalized on a tech steal and allowed setroc to reach MMI first based on turn order.
The game hasn't been fun for me since the start playing catchup on my massive error and really I only stuck around to try play mentor to Leon. The only viable option now would be to use my larger mineral income and go all out gas attack which would prob result in MAD and having already done that with Setroc once I don't have the enthusiasm to do it again. well that's a real shame :< I guess we have no choice but to call an end to the game. Do you think it's worth trying for a replacement? I dont think we'll find one enthusiastic for this late game.Comment

It's too bad, even for me. Surely I was about to be cannon fodder, as my economy was almost fifty turns behind, but I was learning an important lesson about priorities.
Nevertheless, it may have been for the best - the number of units this map could harbor, it gives me a headache just to think about that.Comment

Eventhough you were behind in terms of size, I'm sure it was a good lesson in ICS strategies for you Trotsky! Well, it was definitely a good game, and I enjoyed dissecting Laz's tactics via infiltration and then using them against him. I probably learnt as much as Trotsky has. Now if only smac was still active enough for me to use them against someone else...Comment
