i know... i sent it late on purpose so i wouldn't get another turn in my evening and be the one it is sitting with because i really don't want to play twice a day...

Hm... telling sorta defeats the purpose, but now i can ask if you prefer playing in the morning or the evening? I'll send in time if you want to play before work

wow-- thats fast-- enjoy a 12 hour gap while I am at work-- If you wanted to speed things up, you could post the turn in the thread -- I cannot access my email from work but it is possible to play here-- probably at lunch

Oh and you can name the turn as you please-- it really doesn't matter what you call it as long as the naming is consistent

The annoying part of that player elimination bug is that you do lose out on a handy base.... The Collective can never have too many, after all

War broke out today between Hiverian and peacekeeper forces. Reports indicate that the United Nations forces claimed that a Hive land-raising operation was in violation of their treaty and declared vendetta. The Spartan federation then triggered their pact obligations and also declared vendetta.

Hive troops in the region immediately went to Defcon 1 and eliminated nearby UN forces. Diplomatic efforts continue with the Spartans to prevent the widening of the conflict. More later on the Hive news network

The Spartan forces deplore the recent outbreak of war on Planet and encourage those involved to seek peace. We do not wish to take sides at this time, however we note that any Hiverian force build-up near our territory will be regarded as a threat to our sovereinty and dealt with appropriately.
