You aren't going to believe this. I only just discovered that choppers land between turns (lol) - otherwise I would have done a more complete scan of the area instead of just sending what air superiority noodles I had. I can't help but feel sad for myself.

In planetary news, Setroc announces that the 24th April is now Hive remembrance day in honour of all the brave crawlers who automatically mined minerals for various Hive bases until the very minute they were destroyed.
