One of Trotsky's bases has been demolished, and severe civilian casualties have been reported from Drone HQ, following further Hive atrocities. Nerve gas pods attached to missiles were fired at the reported location of Trotsky's living quarters. Miraculously, Trotsky seems to have survived the attack, although the population of the previously thriving base has been reduced by more than half.

It is believed that further economic sanctions against Setroc will be ineffective in preventing him from employing such tactics in the future.

In other Hive news, Setroc announced a national holiday called "super suicide day" on the day that Planet Cult orchestrated a mass suicide in the face of insurmountable Hive forces. In honour of the only sane thought ever to be had by the Prophet, each suicide day one drone will be lobotomized, with the removed part of the brain being left out in the fungus.

Pretty happy with my betrayal rate so far. Eventhough this was on friendly terms, it's just how I envisage a successful Hive PBEM.

It should be quite a challenge against someone of your experience, but with my current firewpower advantage, I will give it a good try!

The only air power I'd ever give Morgan would be in the form of nerve gas needlejets at his bases. I believe that Trotsky has been meddling again.

I dont know why Trotsky would secure a second term in office for the greatest enemy of the working class, capitalist pigdog Morgan. But then to supply him with the most advanced weapons ever concieved? I've never heard of anything so ludicrous.

Perhaps Morgan will overcome the brainwashing techniques employed by Sperber now that he is dead, so that the CEO will once again return to his peaceful ways.
