I could not have captured your final base anyway last turn as I did not have a locust or ship in range. BUt its empty and not finishing anything this turn. So thanks hobbes for the game


Now to darsnan-- Since his predecessor had essentially sworn a submissive pact, I'm guessing I am now the victor unless Darsnan wishes to break pact and have a turn or two more of a shooting war ??


This was an interesting game to come into but this win had nothing to do with me and everything to do with mongoose . IMHO the victory is his.

If you are interested, the game started on 20-03-2002 17:08.
That means it took 4 years, 3 months & 22 or so days to complete. None of the original starting players finished!

Nope - I just filled in to keep the game going. It was interesting battling Hobbes for a while, till he figured out that if he took my aquatic bases there wasn't anything I could do to take them back.

That is a long game-- I bet the 3 of us could do a similar sized game in less than a year.

And it was much appreciated. In case you did want to fight, I upgraded my forces to reactor 4 and have ample 13-1-18*4 Wave choppers, locusts, battleships and drop units in the area.

I'm glad there was some of the fun factor in it for you. I also have had fun in games where I replace folks and get thrust into war immediately.
