We wish to welcome new citizens who have thrown of the oppression of cult tyranny and joined us in true worker's republic. We hope you enjoy your new freedoms which will include the right to worship as you wish.

However there is a price to freedom. We are sad to announce that the government of the Cult has equipped some of their troops and deployed nerve gas weapons. These weapons have not yet been employed and we implore the cult to consider their actions. Use of nerve gas is damaging to Planet and would result in many deaths. Since our frontline citizens remain disciples of the Cultist faith, use of such weapons would result in killing many of their own flock.

We therefore have redoubled our defense efforts. Civil defense units are working tirelessly to distribute masks and filters. Our military will hunt these units down with a vengence. We shall take every possible step to protect ALL our citizens.

I also want to address some rumours. The mediavids have reported that the Cultists intend to build a Planet-Busting weapon. I want to state categorically that this is not the case at this time. The Cult has begun stockpiling a large quantity of resources which could allow the swift construction of such a weapon but such a stockpile could also be used for Peaceful purposes.

So to re-iterate . .. The Cult has not used a weapon of mass destruction in any military theatre. However they are producing gas weapons AND are building capability toward a nuclear option. While we have had our differences with the Cult, we hope and believe that they would never actually use such weapons.

Such weapons are an abomination but we have learned from history that maintaining your own stockpile may serve as a deterrent. Therefore , if we see anyone building a Planet Buster, we will immediately construct own own

WE are hunting him vigorously but he remains defended by ample forces. While we have curtailed his operations we are "uncertain as to his exact whereabouts"
