BTW ... here is a section of the Alpha Centauri.ini that fixes the faction picture issues for this game:
Faction 1=ANGELS
Faction 2=PIRATES
Faction 3=DRONE
Faction 4=PEACE
Faction 5=HIVE
Faction 6=MORGAN
Faction 7=GAIANS
There is a utility in the files section called iniswap that can be used to automatically load a corrected file.
