Doesn't it give you a warning about that or does that only happen for units with a weapon slot so you can choose disband or self-destruct?

Ahh if its a former you probably hit shift-d instead of shift-f

I use the numberpad on the keyboard to play, and I just happened to twitch, then automatically hit enter. I'm not sure I even read the window that appeared!

I use the numberpad to move units but I'll confess I don't know what keystrokes there would result in a disband--

Its good you noticed the unit disappear... It would be horrible if you were , 3 turns later, saying I KNOW I had a former here somewhere

Which reminds me - Flubber, why don't we get any more stories of Sven and especially Usi? Sorry I can't replace for Chaunk to second you in this, but 'me english make riting stories too time-eating'. But I'm sure you can go on without that.

I am taking a new job in June so I am taking the rest of May off . . .. means I can play at all kinds of times

Edit -- but a sick son (nothing serious) means I may not get to complete this turn for several hours
