I hope this game gets set up because i actually want to play my first pbem game here. isnt this just the best place to be?
(especially when i heard that dropped players will normally get a replacement...).
i found some threads however that werent continued with none of the players making a statement to that situation
before i use smileys even more excessively i should better end here"Cogito ergo non sum"

DetriusXii,
I think so. This is a nice surprise. Senethro, care to sheperd this vessel? You can have the honour of naming it yourself. In regards to the vacancy in another game I'd like to get my sea legs wet just alittle before I go jumping into another game. If the staple gun is furtively hovering, then at least give me the chance to turn in a few completed turns, here in this reality.
I really leave it up to the seniors to kick this off since no synapses are signaling green in my network.
I will take Gaians if no one else has a burning desire.
Always nearby.

Ok, I'll officially take this on. I'd recommend for Maia or anyone else to follow that link they posted if they want a second game as the Hive.
I'll cook up a map over the next few days after you've given me some details about what kind of world you want and, more importantly, what game you guys are playing.

Okay,
I've played just about everything tweaked in the CPU game.
PBeMing could be a seperate identity alltogether.
It doesn't matter to me what version (SMAC/SMACX) we play.
I'm becoming pretty attached to the DataJacks and all their Jazz lately.
As long as we (1) get started and (2) stick together when we do.
It'll be short anyway. I will win at around 2150.
in anticipation,
'maia'
P.S. Thanks again for the invite Senethro but I atleast need one under my belt. Sry.

I'd prefer smacx, but if somebody only has smac, that's no problem for me either.
As for the world: I don't have any real preferences, but as I'd like to get some experience from this game, I'd say something which resembles the maps that are played most commonly here.no sig
