    Well,
if we play 3 games and then continue only one it's ok with me. Though, Walek has right that's bit risky anyway. You have no warranty that any of these maps will be fair for all players. And you can be sure it's irritating when you've got no chance to win the game (or at least have fun building empire) just because you had worse starting point then other players. And Walek can tell you that. He knows a lot about that

It's common that somebody sets the map. It's usually still random map but he/she makes sure that all players have got, more or less, fair starting position.

Hummmmmm. I think I can still play the game if the lost is evident. I will think that It was THE My PlanetFall.
Well I enjoy play the game... Not the winning. Of course victory is better but I dont mind that much.

Byother hand there is people insist on win/lose.

So what I must have said before is that the game gonna be random or non participant tested map.

By the way one thing I have noticed is It would be better to that the first player(one who initiates the turn)
should create the file. He can set the password rightaway.

I want the play the gameeeee!!!1

Three options, guys: Either everyone posts his email and I send three files in a couple of hours or someone ask a CMN he knows or we ask publicly "CMN wanted" in the forum.

I asked already and waiting answear it will be today. And belive me after many games palyed i had no intentions to play in game where one player play Alien faction and because of starting posytion his adventage after 100 years is so big that 4 others player have no chance to win even 4 to 1. And yes i play games because i want win the game and i lose many games and stiull play so this is for fun too. But if on the begioning i am sure i lose the game, sory then i have no motyvation to play.

Huh, with this speed of signing up..:whisk:

              So - times:
(I think this'll be the best align)

              Code:
              Player Faction Playtime
              -----------------------------------------------
              Colonyan:	PKs 00:00-05:00 GMT
              AndiD: Morgan 07:00-21:00 GMT
              Walek: Gaians 07:00-00:00 GMT
              Zalek: Hive 17:00-00:00 GMT
              -----------------------------------------------

              EDIT: messed up..

              Diff level transcend
All human factions (means no AI, right?)

Full random map ( can be discuted) - you mean all average?

              Map size:Large

              Rule:Standard condition. Except no cooperative
              victory is allowed.

Tech:blind or oriented. To be decided. (better take oriented - gives more balance and speed)

hi BT good to see you setting up the game.
                no AI,
                research directed of course,
ok, let it be full random. Dosen't matter. I just want to start the game.

                  Not random but average.

yes, of course I didn't mean everything random. What I meant by full random was that computer generates random map but with all settings choosen manually as average.

All right. Thanks for your help BT.
Just by curiosity, how much time does it take to
set up the game in scenario editer? I hope not more than 30 minuts.

So I assume that people dont use alien faction since they are so different. At least both alien faction must be played by human player I think.Well, I want to see a situation where human factions must capture or destroy a alien city with space genarator.(I got french ver.,not sure in English.)

After CMNs touch maps often lose more or less of their randomness (depends mostly on how well they look after generating).

For example - you often find annoying 1-3 tile water territories in random maps, but CMN destroys em as they're pretty disturbing and unrealistic (don't take a reference to lakes - lakes are freshwater).

I also tend to cover all bonus squares given by generator with pods, thus you still have a chance to not pop the actual bonus..

Just by curiosity, how much time does it take to

                        Non-AI game: 1hour minimum.
AI game: up to 3-4 hours depending on how much you tweak AIs and map. Mostly you don't have the drafts for AI tweaks and they must be made out of scratch.

Half of the time you'll be occupied with testing. Everything needs to be tested. Starting with the difficulty as first priority.
It's simply disastrous if someone has different difficulty. Walek could tell you more..

I have to set 2 PBEMs up prior to your one. I hope to make at least one this eve and thus your one till the end of the week.
