Turn 2253 to Ka Plewy.
The Spartan high command has been watching the steady build up of industrial might by the Gaian government. It also has been keeping a watch on the Gaian Planet Buster, which they regarded as dangerously close to Spartan territory.
Finally the generals could hold back no more and launched a pre-emptive strike at Velvetgrass Point. The air squadron managed to empty that base and destroy the PB. Then a special air drop unit squadron landed in Gaian territory and made its way to the empty base and took it.
Unfortunately while celebrating they had a little mishap: someone sat on a big red button and things 'mushroomed' from there. On the ISDG 2012 team at the heart of CiviLIZation
