Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
There's quite an explanation needed for this turn I'm afraid.
You'll see a number of reload warnings, and those are for the following reason:
I opened the turn, and started an action I already planned on for a few turns. Something Barinthus can confirm if necessary. The result of this action ('t was a fifty/fifty chance) failed on me, and I was mad enough on that to just quit the game like that.
I reopened, in order to redo and accept the result, but this time I succeeded. Another try gave a native popup at opening which gave me a huge amount of energy again... Enfin, that's why you see those reloads when opening, it took several tries before I had the conditions straight and I lost.
I know that this will look suspicious, for later in the turn I felt the need to start hostilities due to infiltrator information. So, this is the turn. But if you guys feel that it's too iffy, I'll just redo it with a fresh one, or even accept being banned from this game.
This said, an announcement is in order:

Lucky Autumn, MY 2221.0505
The festivities for the newest acquistion of the Kingdom were
in full progress. Lady Deirdre Skye and Queen Gwynn Elevea had
agreed that for efficiency reasons it was best that some base
exchanging was in order, and two bases were exchanged as
a trial before the tougher nut of Gaia's Landing was discussed.
The former Gaian citizens seemed quite content with this change,
and celebrated fully with the immigrated Atlanteans when
suddenly the alarms started wailing. The garrison commander
went to his HQ for information, went completely white and ran
to the base Governor.
Once at him he said: Sir, an invasion force consisting of multiple
marine companies and escorted by a drop company and probably
some special agents are discovered in the fungal woods around
the base. They are prepared for an attack. The Governor went white himself and shouted: Quick,
don't just stand there, call the RAF, obliterate them... and so this happened quite efficiently. After the massacre the
identity of the invading force was established, and upon
confirmation the Government ordered a full assault with all
available naval and air forces. In the end of that year the
Atlantean forces had token several bases and bombed several
more into virtual surrender.
At that time Queen Elevea came upfront again, and tried to start
negotiations between the Kingdom and the enemy... she thought
he may be more willing to listen to the Kingdom now that it had
shown it's fist...

So, for the last time Queen Elevea calls upon both Dr. Rubin and Cpt. Sankis to stop their harassment of what is left of the Gaian faction. In return Cpt. Sankis can have his bases back, but the University invasion of the Gaians now in progress is expected to retreat without taking bases.

I am pleased that the game can get you that excited, Geo! I see no reason not to accept your multiple reloads.
We may encounter a bug during this turn. Geo, one of your units is "misplaced" and I hope we are able to fix this; either transfer the unit, disband the unit or see if you can recover the unit. Please let me know if this unit causes any problems/bugs.

The ivory tower mentality of Doctor Rubin that has been growing steadily over the century has finally reached a critical point. The lack of intelligence updates and lack of general interest in other factional developments has resulted in a seemingly clueless University leader. A prime example is the recent council inquiry regarding Peacekeeper technologies; how is an ignorant faction supposed to know the obvious fact that Brother Lal built the Planetary datalinks many years ago?
An unpleasant awakening to the Doctor is now forcing his attention to the planetary progress around him. Changes are imminent!

The Atlantean fist?!? Laughable, at best... and only I shall command my forces; no Atlantean is to give orders to University troops! You, Queen Elevea, do not know your place and the invasion of the Nautilus Empire is entirely out of order! Your ignorant arrogance is unexpected and I am tempted to show you who is to lead this alien world into the future of mankind. You cannot hide beneath the waves of the vast Chironian oceans--I'll find you!

University Council Inquery #1187: Datajack Aeolus, please bring forward your diplomatic stance in the conflict between the Atlanteans and the Nautilus Empire!
Ah yes, I think I know what you're talking about. Something similar as the probed Angel base by the Hive earlier this game? Shouldn't case much of a problem. I keep you informed...
It would be wise for Dr. Rubin to realize that, although perhaps limited to University standards, this so-called 'fist' is still strong enough to wreck havoc upon Planet! If Dr. Rubin simply wishes to Transcend to another plane of existance, be our guest. Some terminal ivory tower existance is still not craved in most factions. And those factions still have to share Chiron after the 'departure' of your faction!

Don't tell me you weren't warned enough not to persue this.
Several times I asked not to invade the Gaian faction. The more so for this faction didn't start hostilities in the first place, and wasn't a threat to anyone while at the same time being a nice buffer between our two factions. It costed me enough interfering in this. 't Would have been easily enough just to sit this out for 10 more turns so Rubin could Transcend and get this game over with, but no, you choose to continue this vendetta while no real need for that existed. I realize fully that Rubin can take me out in a few turns, but that could have happened anyway and better so from him alone then with your assistance.
Remember that, when freeing Deirdre, it could had as easily taken Organic Lubricants from you instead with much less risk, and still have no war with you. Logically seen it would have been a better choice, it would have given me the technological leap to choose another research path and have some chance against Rubins' tech leaps.
So, can I take it that you're not interested in peace talks? Guess not, with Rubin advancing on Barinthus' continent...
