OK, new first turn sent. I eliminated a little fungus for everyone, and tweaked the map a little more. I am builder/hybrid oriented, so the map reflects that.

I kept a traditional order because we have new players, and I didn't want to have to burden them with the scrambled faction graphics bug. Kept it simpler. Otherwise I would probably choose the order they posted on the thread. You'll like your starting spot after a couple of turns, I suspect.

Is it just the colors, or is it also the unit/base representations? I'll send the .ini if it the first, but if its the second all you need to do is make sure you exit SMAC totally, and then restart with this scenario. It's a bug I didn't know about until my first PBEM, where the faction graphics get matched to the sequence of the previous game played. Or make up a game with the same sequence as ours (default) that you always start up first, and then start our PBEM.
