  • I'm hoping we could pick up the pace a bit with this game. Looking at this thread, it seems everyone else generally speaking plays their turns in a timely manner, but laurentius frequently has had the turn for a week or more. I'm hoping laurentius could improve his playing speed, otherwise I'd suggest trying to get a replacement.

                  • Laurentius posted as late as 18 Oct but it seems he only has the SMAC/X CD at home.

I must admit I am finding this game dragging out to much.

So if Laurentius doesn't play soon or indicate the possibility of a faster turn rate, then I would vote for a replacement, other wise we might lose the other patient players.

I have to say Ka Plewy I never counted you as a late player.

                      Meanwhile how's things?

I'm voting for getting a replacement as well.

                        • I'll endorse a replacement.
I'm fine, my daughter was born last Monday. She's fine, too! Chances are my rate will never be less than a few days. I have every other day breaks in my schedule...

Many congratulations to you! I know that when my first was born (also a daughter) that when I held her for the first time, it was one of the most memorable moments of my life. Any chance you'll be posting som pics of the little one?

OK, this makes a majority of players asking for a replacement. My observation is that with the game having started on 12/7/2003 and it now being almost two years later, that with the game only being 55 turns in, why players are averaging about two turns a month. Upon closer examination it is usually Laurentius that is taking much more time than is typically acceptable in his turns. Therefore if the players in this game want to actively seek a replacement player for Laurentius, I will then give the password out to that replacement player.

                            • Since it seems we're in favour of getting a replacement, I took the liberty of posting a thread about it in order to get things rolling: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...hreadid=140220 .

                              OT: Congratulations, Ka Plewy!
