I saw that, but it's not very enlightening, you know..
-- What history has taught us is that people do not learn from history.
-- Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

My midterms have just started. I'll have to cut my time here for the next six-seven weeks.

          LOL good one

There is also this post from earlier which says just as much(nothing) after he was PMed...i assume he is working on it still and will update us when there is something to tell

besides the fact civ4 is mostly too anoying(lag) to play on my box here, it seems pretty decent. it runs smooth on 2 other puters ive run it on. im curious as to how good people think it will be for c4ac? i still havnt looked it(code etc) over yet

What do you guys think of the AI? it seemed pretty fun to play at noble\prince level. it wasnt a challenge to me but it wasnt a walkover like other civgames ai. thats all i want from an AI, to be fun to play against, even if it does lose everytime, it was still competive into the lategame and seemed to be actually using stuff. its still not great at tactital operations though, i was fighting two vs one and not even in military mode. they would bring lots of horsearcher+swords vs my spears+macemen and stacking them on a hill they just walked around on level ground and got killed. when i got grendairs i had been at war with 1 awile and he was behind so i just rolled him up like a carpet.the other ai only had macemen also

but overall not bad at all. then again i didnt activate cheats to see how they did behind the scenes

I think that this AI won't have troubles rushing Projects with crawlers. After all, it is pretty good at spending it's GP's already. The only thing left in that department is using crawlers for resources.

I'm only checking this forum every week or so. I havn't been doing anything otherwise as there's nothing to do. The graphics projects are on hold. Disecting the graphics of Civ IV was proving to be quite a bit of work and some of the files are as yet unreadable.

We can't blindly replace things without some idea of what was there and the scale we are working with. I mean who wants a world spanning unity foil? And, there's still a visible fold running through the terrain graphics I created, I can't seem to get rid of it. Argh!
Don't rule me out when I'm losing. Save your celebration until after I'm gone.

who wants a world spanning unity foil?
Do you mean a colossal foil, or one that can circle the globe in a turn? I'll take 5, either way.
