I'm playing as the Hive, and experiencing painfully slow growth because most of my land squares are 'moist', and yet when I farm them they still only give me 1 nutrient!! Look:

Note that the 2 squares to the southwest, which are farmed and 'moist' give 1 nutrient; but so does the one square to the east, which is NOT farmed, give 1 nutrient!
Am I wrong in thinking that every farmed 'moist' square should give 2 nutrients? What could be causing this?
I should mention that this is inconsistent. In some other bases, some of my farmed 'moist' squares are giving 2 nutrients, whilst others are giving only 1. I can see no rhyme or reason to it.

Looks like mines are the ONLY terraforming change which will do anything to actually reduce any nutrient/mineral/solar output at all. BTW I have read the whole manual (I even have that appendix printed out), it's just hard to remember all of it.
