We've occupied the Templar base Faralia.

We've contacted the Angels.

We acquired industrial base and the fission reactor from Aki Zeta-5 and ecological engineering from Elevea in 2131. We were researching the fission reactor.

Our tech choices will be progenitor psych, industrial automation, gene splicing, long-range missiles, high intensity lasers and military doctrine.

We’ll likely get our military techs from the Templar, so for me it is a choice between gene splicing (lift nutrient restrictions) and industrial auto (lift mineral restrictions according to my spreadsheet). I have this vague recollection that min restrictions were lifted with Industrial Base (B2), however. I see little value in Prog Psych right now.

Since we are pop booming, lifting nutrient restrictions seems more useful. I’m not quite sure how many tiles this would effect, but it is likely more than we have for minerals. Plus, we’ll have to spend time constructing mines before we can take advantage of mineral restrictions being lifted.

Once we've gotten gene splicing, I assume the next tech is industrial automation.

After that, will it be the path toward zero point energy, which lifts energy restrictions? (We'll assume that we've taken care of the Templars by then.)

Our tech choices were progenitor psych, applied plasma physics, industrial automation, retroviral geneering, long-range missiles, military doctrine and mechanical resonance.

We chose industrial automation.

In 2136, we acquired industrial automation from Elevea.

We're currently researching industrial automation, so we need to choose another tech to research.

Our tech choices are know-how: sea power, progenitor psych, applied plasma physics, secrets of the human brain, retroviral geneering, nanotube mass production and military doctrine.

Energy has been a limiting factor, so I think we should follow the applied plasma physics to zero point energy route, since zero point energy lifts energy restrictions.

We ejected the Templars from the Monsoon Jungle. The Templar leadership escaped and relocated to an island near our north east of our continent.

From 2145 - 2146, we have changed from planned/technocrat to private/protectionist/plutocrat social models. We're still in unitary democracy and anthropocentric.

This moves us from a pop boom situation to a situation where we are receiving an extra energy for every square.

We built our first secret project, the rejuvenation tanks (human genome project).

In 2147, we changed to unitary police state politics.

Between 2148 and 2149, we will discover applied plasma physics.

Our tech choices will be know-how: sea power, progenitor psych, zero point energy, secrets of the human brain, environmental economics, long range missiles, nanotube mass production and know-how: air power.

We will choose zero point energy.
