The BRCM Rover didn't make it to the second tile north.

South westernmost gun foil seems landlocked in a dead end.

Diplomacy: The good CEO didn't want to trade Planetary Networks or anything else. Do we try to sell him something else? Optical Computers or High Energy Chemistry, for example.

Diplomacy
Gaians (ambivalent): Chairman Yang is attacking her holdings. She asks for assistance.

I propose a pact, at any price she choses.

She then asks us to pronounce vendetta against the Hive.

I try to get her into trading Planetary Networks. She doesn't fall for that, even if I offer her any price she asks for the tech.

2126 Turn Summary

I tried to pursue the Believer ship but I lost track of it owing to the damaged state of our gun foil. But he must be two clicks to the north northeast of our gun foil (now repaired, thanks to the monolith).

All the other moves have been made according to schedule.

We are two squares from the Spartan intruder, ready to strike should the need arise.

Santiago asks for 50 credits, I tell her to take her demands elsewhere. She becomes upset and declares vendetta. We are at war against the Spartans.

I had a glimpse of the Believer ship due west of our gun foil, and heading south.

2127 Operations
The former made it to the combat zone.
We are victorious. The BRCM rover is now damaged to 90% but destroyed the Spartan unit.

2127 Turn Summary

All the crawlers' moves and workers allocations have been made.
I did adjust the sliders back to 50/50 Eco/Science.

We seem to have found a fungus free road to a base jungle site, to the northeast of East.

Rushing the East colony pod would cost us 34 credits, but we might want to wait for East population to reach 3. This could be worth a survey.

Deirdre tries to build the Virtual World.

No sign of the Believer's foil.

2128 Operations
The Seaview recon rover has sighted another pod south of our northeastern peninsula. Land exploration complete in the northeastern part of our landmass.

No sign of the Believer's foil. Pursuing search.

As our pact brother Morgan has switched to another research, he might be interested in a tech exchange.

I have sent the East CP on the road towards the eastern part of our territory.

Diplomacy
We said hello to Morgan. He asks us to research Advanced Military Algorithms in order to trade for its own research in Gene Splicing.
I tried to get Planetary Networks, but received the usual answer.
I decided to sell him Optical Computers for 25 credits.

Transition
No sightings of the Believer foil. I prerushed the plasma boat in Drydock.

2129 Operations
Our plasma boat is blockading Judgement Seat. This Believer base is defended by a Scout rover (1-1-2). No sign of the Believer foil yet.

All the other orders have been carried out, to my knowledge.

We might want to rush the recycling tanks in HQ.

End Turn
Caught a glimpse of something moving three clicks south by southeast of He Walked on Water. It might be what we are looking for.

The Morgan builds the Virtual World.
The Morgan initiates the Planetary Transit System.

The Believers have built another land base three clicks north by northeast of He Walked on Water: Great Zion.
And there is a Believer seaformer two tiles to the southwest of He Walked on Water.

2130 Diplomacy
Morgan (magnanimous) asks again for us to research Advanced Military Algorithms to be exchanged for Gene Splicing.
The good CEO offers Planetary Networks in exchange for High Energy Chemistry. He also has Ethical Calculus, but I doubt he will part with it.
I therefore accept the deal. He doesn't wish to speak further. Morgan out.

Deirdre (magnanimous) asks us to join her war against the Hive. I decline, she is a bit upset. Anyway, Deirdre researchs Centaury Meditation to be traded later for Doctrine: Loyalty.
On with the tech exchange. High Energy Chemistry against Ethical Calculus. Deal. She then offers me gratis Advanced Military Algorithms as a goodwill gesture. Thank you so much, dear Lady. End of the conversation.

Bottomline: three new techs versus one sold. I am beginning to get a Kissinger syndroma.

We now have probe team capacity, AAA and deep radar, we can go power, planned and/or democratic, and we can build Creches, Punishment Spheres and Holo Theaters.
This calls for a debate between us in the wardroom.

One of the South gun foils has discovered a Believer colony pod.
The Drydock gun foil popped a pod which had sonar data (limited usefulness).

Switched Drydock to Recreation Commons.

We experienced a double worm attack in Suez. We were victorious. The Scout is now hardened.

The Believers have started the Command Nexus.
The Believers foil has been found 1 click to the northeast of our plasma hoverboat which needs to escort our sea colony.

We now have Nonlinear Maths. We have no other choice than Centauri Empathy.

I contacted Morgan and traded Gene Splicing for Adv. Mil. Algorithms. Tried to get another exchange but the CEO told me he was busy at the moment.

Zakharov (ambivalent) offers Polymorpic Software in exchange for Gene Splicing. I try to switch to Industrial Automation. We got it! Crawlers are on the way. I try another tech trade. We appear to have no tech data which he is interested in.
I try to get a pact. Not interested. Zakharov out.

We popped the pod. Seaview has completed its Rec Tanks, thanks to the supplies.

Deirdre launches the Xenoempathy Dome secret project. The Believer foil seems to have moved 3 clicks west of HQ.

2133 Operations
The Drydock gun foil has sighted another pod and is in position to pop it next turn.
A Believer transport foil with a 2-2-1 and a 1-1-2 inside has been sighted 1 tile to the northwest of The Lord's Truth.

We contact Zakharov. He offers a pact. I accept and gifts us with his map. He then offers us Polymorphic Software gratis as a gesture of goodwill. Thanks, dear Professor.
He then ends the discussion.

We pop the pod near the Spartans. Supplies to complete the Trance Skimship Supply in Seaview.
The green Seaview foil then encounters a Spartan transport with a probe team onboard. She sinks it! And becomes disciplined in the process. Hurrah!
