      Hey guys,

I don't mind not being in the hall of fame. Truth is I was always a burst activity person, I would pour all my time and engery into one thing thing at a time. Nowadays I'm pretty much retired from apolyton and SMAX.

where Kody would monitor key player posting records and make deductions about what was happening diplomacy wise- how scary is that?)
*snicker*, that's because I would read everything in all the alpha centauri and related forums, then end up pressing refresh constantly waiting for the next post. This was before I got deeply into playing the game. If I didn't take a few minutes to think before I made all my posts people would have seen most of my replies instantly appearing after the previous post.

It was embrassing once when I realised I had been pressing refresh for a hour without any new posts appearing. I had to force myself to get a drink of water... before I came back to check for new posts again. *giggle*

        Kody sighting!

What grips your interest nowadays then?

Talk of the cIV--->SMACX mod, perhaps?

Anyways, good to see you dropping by from time to time, Kody!

If the votes are still going on, or for the next HoF...
Googlie, Snowflake (Honghu) and ... umm GeoModder

What grips your interest nowadays then?
            Hey Geomodder

I read 3 novels earlier this week...

Other than that trying to concentrate on getting more work done in my studies.

Umm earlier this year one of my friends got me into this morpg where I got an insanely high level character... my friends were initally annoyed I sped out of level range then switched to teasing me about the amount of time I spent playing ... yeah so must concentrate on my studies.

Googlie was voted in December 2004 Hall of Fame elections . This was work of coordinated voting and lobbying of many SMACers. This thread serves to coordinate any further efforts about organised voting which is very efficient in getting people in the Apolyton Civilization Site Hall of Fame

Votes aren't counted in this thread, only in threads in official threads created by Darkcloud. Furthermore, August elections are over, and late or advance votes aren't accepted.

Darn missed out on casting my votes. Oh well.

Hey Darsnan, yeah well it seems I keep revisiting my old haunts every now and again.

Thanks Illuminatus, for that information on the HoF. Oh yeah also thanks again for those ebooks, good reading.

Hrmm 3:30am, guess it's time to sleep.

My limited prescience let's me know that new Hall of Fame elections will start soon. It is time to revive this effort.

I must say that I have given some thought to this endevaour, and while it is certainly effective to pool each of our votes, it is not fair towards the others. By locking our votes on to a set of candidates we disregard contributions of others which should be recognized, merely by voting for them, regardless of the time they might need to get them in.

Followin that I will devote a single vote per conclusions made in this thread, but I'll wait towards the end of the elections to cast final votes. Unrecognized underdogs should be rewarded as well.

This is what we may expect, based on Probability Mechanics.

It would be fair to nominate someone you consider to be worthy of Hall of Fame. If you can't nominate someone yourself, try Hydro.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man. --G.B.Shaw

I always intended to!! OH and I threw my support behind some oldtimers that aren't around much any more.

                                Tau ceti and Marione

I'll wait to see who else comes out of the pack as the next person most people want to get into the Hall. In the meantime I like to use my votes for some folks that may not make the hall but who deserve a mention from time to time
