Don't tell me native life has SAM capability, and not just locusts?
Best guess is it's the psi weapon? Otherwise, it's just a glitch AFAIK.

Last night I was playing and the AI was pounding one of my bases with needlejets, so I move some mindworms for defense (great boils). After that I moved one by mistake and he shoot down the needlejet.
Wake me up when something interesting happens... zzzZZZzzz
Anyway, in answer to the second last post before me, by editing alpha(x) .txt, you can change the time limits to MY. 9999; its good enough.
