            It's been a few weeks...

Like Asher said, we need to be mentioning Civ 5 as much as possible for SEO at the very least. Considering that the homepage still doesn't have anything about it, I think we might be in trouble.
            John Brown did nothing wrong.

We are working very hard and making much progress.
We do not want to release too much info to avoid that we have to disappoint people because release dates of the new Apolyton may change.

The current status is that we have an alpha version of the new environment. The configuration must be finished and after that the data (or at least a part of it for testing purposes) will be migrated to the new environment.
Then 2-3 weeks for testing and tweaking will be used. A group of approx 15 poly members has already signed up for this.

In the meanwhile we're also working on getting content providers.
I think that in the past 7 weeks we have made extremely much progress and made a lot of decisions. We have weekly live-meetings on thursday.

So right now the most important 3 steps are:
                  1. finalising the configuration for the new apolyton.
                  2. transfering data, testing, and transfering all data after that.
                  3. finalise the deals on content delivery

I'm not making any promises here on ETA, but it won't be months

See, that's what we should have got when this thread was originally posted. But I still think something should be done with regards to Civ5. A dead site has no need for a redesign, and this site will surely die if we don't get new blood soon.

There's a little bit of a chicken / egg debate there, but we're working on both.

There should be no debate. Chickens came first.

It depends. Is a chicken egg an egg laid by a chicken, or an egg with a chicken inside?
