Automatic allcaps editing

admins, could you please disable this feature? It has truly annoying consequences. For example:

in this post, solomwi quotes something i said, then apparently typed in "qft" as a response. The system recognized this as an allcaps post, changed the response to "qft", and (here's the ridiculous part) changed both my quoted post as well as my username to all lowercase. Note that my post was a mix of uppercase and lowercase, as is my username.

Is there really any benefit to leaving this feature activated? If there is no simple way to disable it, could you please let me know?

On Topic: gotta agree the all caps posts getting changed is pretty annoying. Anyone posting an entire post in all caps is going to either be reported or ignored anyway, in either on topic or off topic forums.

In the admin panel, under vBulletin Options -> Message Posting and Editing Options, it's the Prevent 'SHOUTING' option, set that number to 0 to disable.
