  • Change the "Apolyton Civilization Site" link at the top left back to how it was btw, I'm dead tired of being sent to the useless front page all the time.

    • It's the poor formatting of the join date/location/posts/local time/local date/avatar/title on the side that makes the posts too large if they're short.

It really is an awful layout.

      • What were they doing so long, to come out with a revision so ugly? And haven't they learned from all the chasngeovers before?

        • gag, the stuff on the left is fuglier than before. And they don't even have pm button and such anywhere. And why have the report button on the side instead on on the top (with the pm button, etc.)

Btw, I'm going to test the site by reporting you.

            • Removing Local Time and Local Date from each post might be a good idea.
              How is that useful?

PS: I'm glad Apolyton has at last upgraded.

              • Amazingly, you guys have managed to further break something I complained about first years ago. Last Name is still required, and now a blank space no longer works. Why the **** would Last Name EVER be required for this site?

                Ugh...

It's a great feature, working just like "my threads", only it's divided in two different sections, one with newly updated threads and one with all threads you've ever replied to. Just remember to uncheck the email notification if you haven't already.

                      Sigs should be smaller font.

                        • Poly is supposed to have a dark background and BK is supposed to be on ignore by default.

                          • I had a white background before. But not this ugly puke green.

                            • I expect this to be a work in progress for awhile, so instead of whining, I'll just post any oddities I notice and hope for the best. Kudos to anyone and everyone on Poly Staff who put in all the hours it took to do this BTW. Long needed, much appreciated.

--BTW, I agree with the comments regarding the excessive size of both the left-hand poster profiles and the signature font size.

--And the semi-clever use of "of" in Location is now useless because of its forcible divorce from poster-rank (settler, chieftain etc). I used to be Emperor "of" the Electronic Egyptians; now I'm not. Not a big deal.

                              • Yeah, I don't think normal time and normal date need to be there... but a lot of the empty space seems to be because of avatars.

The colors and styles will surely change, but smaller font in sigs is a good idea.
