Grandpa Troll's Surgery

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

I can laugh a little about this, but its weird as heck, I have allways been a hands on laborer, even as management.
It is weird not being able to bend wrist area.
I am getting slowly used to it, just well, 49 year old habits hard to break.
Moving forward!Hi, I'm RAH and I'm a Benaholic.-rah

How would I be able to move the mouse around?
But the number of people I have taken the piss out of for having a wrist in a bandage - I sincerely hope you are suffering the same ridicule Sr. Troll?Speaking of Erith:

I think he's suggesting he'd give you a hard time for having a bandaged wrist, due to the ... common ... reason for wrist strain among young men.

UPDATE
Thanks for all concerns!
I do cherish my time here at Poly!
Working through therapy, swelling still pretty much there, slowly receding, maybe another 8-12 weeks I am told
Bone regeneration @ day 39...believe they have me for about 12-14 weeks..per my surgeon
ROM (Range of motion) improving slowly
Minimal necessity for pain meds which is such a blessing!
Have a great day all!

Being someone who tends to hide in a single corner and not come out unless dragged out, I had no idea that GT had had any surgery or any problems (other than just "gettin' old") until I read this thread. I honestly thought that this thread aws some kind of 'surgery' run by GT (think polititian's surgery, not doctor's).
Having now read the thread, I have 2 things to say:- Glad to see you're doing well. So many things can go wrong, it's great to hear a success story.
- Perhaps if you offered some kind of 'Surgery' service to people, it would give you something to do in stead of sitting around complaing that you can't do anything... Seriously I bet you'd be great at it. "The Troll is in", anybody?
Oh, and don't mind Provost. There's not a lot to do around this part of London. There pretty much a choice of: Join a gang, Surf teh intawebs, or amuse oneself.
