It's been a few days as I've been busy, but I've finally changed the display settings for all non-archived forums. For all forums I used one of 4 standards: last 30 days, last 100 days, last year and from the beginning. The changes broken down per forum are below. For most forums the setting used is the lowest of the 4 standards which shows at least (almost) 1 full page of threads.
If anyone has any feedback on these changes, do let me know. Other admins have yet to comment on this, so it's quite possible tweaks will follow based on that or your feedback.
Note that almost no private forum settings were changed because even after archiving all Civ3 DGs there's still an awful lot of those, many of which aren't being used very often, so doing it for all of them is more work than its worth. If you frequent some of these forums and want the default display settings changed in those, just lemme know.
Some changes to moderatorship and topped threads are still forthcoming, and finally I have to clean up and reorganise all the archives, but the latter has a bit of a lower priority.
