I don’t know if you know this, but in Civ 4 vanilla permanent alliances are off be default, you need to select the option in the custom game screen. I am quite certain that the same is true of Civ 4 BtS, so that may be a reason why many players never see permanent alliances.

Another great episode. the two guest hosts were both excellent addtions and the editing was excellent (I know that souinds dumb but there is a wolrd of difference between a well edited podcast and a badly edited one, you just usually dont notice it when its done well).

As the show's editor and one who has done some audio editing otherwise (e.g. video previews, machinima soundtracks), it doesn't sound dumb at all. Thank you kindly.

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.
