I may attend it, if it's the right time me and my wife may fly to the states for a vacation in which I drop by at polycon. We talk about going to the states for a long time already.
Can't say what date would fit is best. I guess that in such an event it doesn't matter when it's been held. Make it a sunny period

Expedia only goes as far out as Feb 2009, so using 2/6/09 (Friday) to 2/8/09 (Sunday) as my flight times I'm getting round trip prices from $158 to $304. I would expect the summer time to be higher in cost, so let's use July 11 to July 13 of this year. The prices range from $161 to $369. Going with the higher price of $369 and using the registration cost of $175 from last Con (hopefully we can lower that), we get a total of $544 for the flight and registration.
There's sixteen months until a July 2009 Con, that means if I save $34 a month from now until July 2009 I'll have enough $$ to pay for the flight and registration.
I'm merely suggesting that if you would like to go, it is possible. Saving $30 to $40 a month for sixteen months isn't hard.
