In this light I may well pass on Civ5, just like I passed on Settlers 4, 5 and 6 after 3 turned out a disappointment, or the third incarnation of AD after loving 1402 and not liking 1503.

Quick summary: Dale goes down in a silly set of self-induced flames; Australian history discussion will get you banned; Civ IV, the single finest computer TBS game ever produced and its fabulous mod, BtS, are "unfinished and/or buggy;" and Sid said he'd like to try an MMO, which led some here to presume a Civ-like MMO -- which he did not say. All this, and we are now on page 5 of the nuanced, and sometimes silly, discussion mostly of two sentences in the whole interview. We do love our Sid!No matter where you go, there you are. - Buckaroo Banzai
