Yes, I agree. It's basically a pre-pre-pre-pre-alpha at this point, it's waaayyy too early to judge it in any way so soon. Personally I think they made too big a deal out of it this early than is really good for them, but we'll see where it goes.

To be fair, he posted this within hours of the feature's launch, not like he gave us much a chance to figure this out for ourselves It's pretty big news in the tech world and I knew about it well in advance, I was already planning to look into how this could benefit Apolyton anyway.

Still, you have a point. If I hadn't known about it already it would've been good to be informed about, we're always looking for ways to generate more Google juice for the site. So yes, the heads-up is much appreciated If anyone knows about other ways to generate links to us from other sites we always appreciate learning about that.

Congratulations, it only took you 7 years to figure that out Now go vote for some modders or fiction writers rather than spammers next time the HoF comes around

I'm not an admin - the law I seem to have uncovered applies solely to them.

Mere posters can't be expected to do a great deal for the site when their attempts to start discussions about the future of the site are met with stonewalling for as long as possible, and suggestions (such as Ralph's) are received without appreciation, at least until prompted.

No, I can assure you it applies to all posters, not just admins. Some of the most important people on this site are Warlords, Princes or barely Kings even though they've been around longer than most Deities. It's just that you aren't paying attention to them...

I read things, I post things, just not to the extent I used to do. There are several reasons for that, but you hit two of them.

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

maybe we all could start our own personal web sites, blogs or something, and then write about 'this one great site that I know': Apolyton.

you missunderstood. but don't worry, that is very common.

I wanted to say that "I agree, maybe we should have a coordinated effort to improve that article".
take one person to upgrade the Apolyton University section, anotherone to demoncracy games and so on.
for example, I don't know anything about Apo Uni, so I can't rewrite that section. I know something about Civ2SuccessionGames, maybe I could write that section, and so on. for example.

I didn't misunderstand so much as you were unclear.
