c'mon Joncha, if you love the site enough to make a donation / buy a plus subscription, you should not change your mind if something happens that you don't like.
If people would only donate to organisations they 100% agree with, then nobody would donate anything.
The admins are trying their best to make the site as good as possible. They have no hidden agenda, no sneaky profits, all they have is love for the site.
Even if you're 100% right (and I don't think that you're 100% right), then I still think that you should allow them to make a mistake. Everybody is allowed to make mistakes, unless you don't ever make mistakes yourself.
Asking your money back is ethical wrong. Using your money to try to influence an organisation is just wrong. If you give them money, don't manipulate them because you gave them money. Geez, I gave much more money then you did, but I would NEVER use my money as an excuse to get things done or to express my disconvenient.

I think you just totally missed the entire idea of the church. I think that the money I gave to apolyton (which is only a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the % I gave to the church) will save me from hell sooner then my church donations.
I think that comparing church donations to poly donations is a good one. You pay for the community. And like in the church, you should not ask your money back because things aren't 100% the way you like it. That's how things are in communities, nobody gets 100% what they want. Otherwise just start your one community, just for you. And do whatever you like.
Oh wait, that's original sin, which brings us back to the church
