We believe in a person's privacy. Any PRIVATE Messages sent on this site are just that private. Posting them in public place somewhere else is a violation of this sites privacy policy.

People have always made comments against this site at other forums, which clearly is there right. But posting PM's from this site elsewhere without the authors permission is a violation. And he has been told that many times. He just doesn't care about any rules.

I may agree or disagree with when someone should or should not be banned, but agreement should be universal about posting PMs: Posting a Private message without the author's permission is akin to back-stabbing gossip. In real life (Where you actually have to face people) I would have nothing more to do with the person. If he hung out at my house or my club, I would throw his ass out for the good of the rest of the folks/members. I see no reason why an internet forum should be be any different? well, ahh except the part about actually facing people.

Minimal moderation can easily work on a board with a couple dozen active posters. It does not work once you get to a couple thousand active posters. I watched CFC go from twenty buddies, to a behemoth of thousands of posters daily. What was nescessary for the forums to functions changed commonly with growth, in each of: standards, how close the reigns were held, and mechanisms of enforement. As noted elsewhere, the proprieter there also demands a high level of collegiality and civility compare to many forums, because that is the evironment he wants in his house.
