Maybe someone should talk to the boss about that concept........

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

If that boss agrees to be a fan of the show...

Sounds as though you found the trade route discussion of particular interest to you -- good, good.

To clarify one point you made above, and one that I have seen made several times elsewhere on-site in recent months: the "German guy" you refer to, Wouter, is actually Dutch.

Out of curiosity are you a regular listener of the show, Wiglaf? Occasional? Since when?

No not regular. I do listen occasionally though, especially to see if Imran has embarrassed himself (he has, many times). the flash player is kind of cool.

[I may be in the minority here, but I want more profanity. I want to see hosts who are passionate about trade routes, apostolic palaces, etc, but the abundance of on-air giggling coupled with a dearth of swear words makes me wonder sometimes just how pumped everyone is]

Ah. Hope with each passing episode you will feel compelled to listen more and more regularly.

If and when there is profanity, it's minimal and usually censored (the more hardcore terms anyway). We swear for occasional emphasis.

As for the "on-air giggling", I can't quite figure out if you're asking for more or less of it.
