Lack of moderator action in the OT

I was a Police officer and my detail was traffic.

I would run radar detail and catch speeders left and right. I had them in the cruiser and when I was writing a ticket, inevitably, one of them would cry about why i am not going after that speeder, to which my reply would be, "If I wasnt writing you a uniform citation, then i could be writing them one."

My point is if people would not be involved in activities that are outside the scope of acceptable behavior, then they would not deservedly be banned. Furthermore, if the offending individuals would simply follow one of a multitude of warnings, they would not be in time out like a juvenile.

But no, this doesnt seem to work with some folks, so yes one of us has to sit somone down. Timeout. Ban.

and there is too much banning. for silly things. like i've been banned or threatened to be banned over really dumb things. but things i should be banned over, i'm not . ridiculous.

this may be off topic, but jon miller said he was a virgin once, and he got banned for that because the mods thought he was insulting virgins or something when he in fact was telling the truth.

this reminds me of when i was once accosted by a girl for "chewing gum" in mass...when i had communion in my mouth.

As I thought I made clear, you were not banned for one comment to Winston. You were banned, primarily, for bullying LoTM, and as a side point, gratuitous and insulting sexual remarks.

As Ming has said, there is a lot going on behind the scenes. However if you feel something goes too far, report it. I will look at every single post report made and see if I think action needs to be taken, so they're not ignored.
