    Stop the Compaining about "Styles"

    Choose your own Colors

    There have been many posts lately about hating the choices or wanting more choices for forum style, usually with some disparaging comment about the colors. There is no need to endure "ugliness" any longer!! Actually, that's been true for some years now. It is very easy to set your own color scheme for the background, the text, even the font...and make it stick for whatever site you go to.

    In Firefox

    Tools --> Options --> Content --> Fonts & Colors --> Colors

    A Choose your colors
    B Do not tick (or untick) "Use System Colors
    C Do not tick (or untick) "Allow pages to choose their own colors...."

    For Fonts (same path) "Advanced"
    Set various font choices
    Do not tick (or untick) "Allow pages to choose their own fonts...."


    Other Browsers

    Don't know or really care...use FF!!

    If you are at work and have no choice, noodle around alone a similar path and see if the admins will let you make changes.

    People should just use Heavy-MOO3 and be done with it.

      No...pick a style and stick with it damn it! Trust me, after a year or two you will actually miss it if you change it!

        I just don't see what all the complaining is in reference to Apolyon Forum Styles...God people! pick a style and STAY with it for at least 6 months for Christ-sakes! Trust me, it will have grown on you by that time!

        Gawd! All of these "Indian Princesses"! I do have a lot of respect for the Apolyton Mods - quite franky, I would want to biach-slap a few posters into reality!

          No complaining in this thread.

          In this thread is found the answer.

          But it will only mean something to folk who like self-empowerment.

          If you want eggplant text on avocado there is nothing stopping you.

                  I'd like to see a "Heavy-Civ4" style. After all, that's currently the most important game on the site.

                          Considering that the styles follow the color scheme of the corresponding section, a Civ4 file would me the same as the default style since the Civ4 section uses default colors.

                              Why not make one??

                              Just start with any of the other "Heavy" styles to get the "Heavy" elements....

                              Use whatever color scheme you imagine is Civ4-ish as above.

                              If you have FF it is easy.
